Today I’m reviewing The Body Shop Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil. Spoiler: I’ve been using it for years and it’s a favorite!

The Body Shop Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil

I can’t even remember when I first bought The Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil from The Body Shop – I’ve been using it that long. I’m going to say since at least university. I graduated from university in 2006, so at the very least 11 years.

Once you’ve taken the lid off, you see the applicator is actually a brush. You simply twist the opposite end to release some oil and then brush it into your nails and cuticles. I find that one twist is enough oil for a couple fingers, though my hands are usually pretty dry. If yours are generally more moisturized you could probably get another nail or two done with each twist.

The lid of The Body Shop Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil has a rubber cuticle pusher on it, which is really handy. Once the almond oil has soaked in for a few minutes, you can push back your cuticles. I find this cuticle pusher a bit softer and easier to use than others I’ve tried in the past.

I typically use it at night when I’m about to go to bed. I find that that’s the best way to make sure that the oil sinks into my nails and cuticles without leaving an oily smudge on everything that I touch. It soaks in relatively quickly with some rubbing. The smell isn’t overwhelming, which is nice.

You can find The Body Shop Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil online or at your local store for $12. They’re currently having a buy 3 get 3 free sale plus free shipping on orders over $75, so it’s a great time to stock up on your favorites from The Body Shop.

Have you tried The Body Shop’s Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil before? What’s a favorite cuticle oil of yours?
